Custom frames for architects and interior designers

We turn the sofa, armchair, banquette or chair you designed for your project into a frame, one to one. New designs start with a sample, and production waits for your approval. Load-bearing parts are solid beech and hornbeam, with no size limits.

What you can send

  • A technical drawing (DWG, DXF or PDF) is the fastest and most accurate.
  • Without a drawing, a dimensioned sketch or reference photos.
  • Quantities for the project and the opening or delivery date.
  • Upholstery allowance: are your dimensions for the finished piece or the bare frame?

How to measure

Sofa frame measurement diagram Side view with overall height, seat height, arm height, seat depth and overall depth; front view with overall width and seat width between the arms. Side view Front view Overall height Seat height Arm height Seat depth Overall depth Seat width Overall width
We need at least these seven dimensions to quote. For sets, give them for each piece (3-, 2- and 1-seater).
  1. Overall width: outside of one arm to the outside of the other
  2. Overall depth: front edge to the back of the frame
  3. Overall height: floor to the top of the back
  4. Seat height: floor to the seat surface
  5. Seat depth: front edge of the seat to the back rest
  6. Seat width: between the inside faces of the arms
  7. Arm height: floor to the top of the arm

What we look at in custom designs

Slim arms, floating backs, unusual angles and long bodies need the joinery planned before production. Curved and carved parts are cut from solid beech. Designs that need CNC cutting can also be made.
